We’re finally starting to feel a little chill in the air, and with fall weather comes fall beauty struggles. At Gaminator Beauty Bar, we are always on the look out for great skincare advice so here are some tips on how to treat dull looking skin and fight acne (yes- some of us are still dealing with this).
Blue Light Therapy
You may wear blue light blocking glasses when staring at the computer, but did you know that blue light can also help fight off acne? Blue light therapy can help prevent breakouts, clear up blemishes, fight acne-causing bacteria, and even treat sun damage.
But keep in mind that light therapy doesn’t work for everyone, and it could take several sessions to find out if your acne is sensitive to blue light. If it is, you might still need to use other acne treatments like prescription creams. But for others, the treatment can light the way to clearer skin. You can find various LED masks or devices to use at home at your local beauty department or drugstore.
Brightening Cream
By now you should have already put your light-weight moisturizer away (or in the garbage) and switched to a brightening and hydrating rich cream. To help you achieve an even and healthy-looking complexion all year round, brightening creams can deeply hydrate and transform dull skin, correcting dark spots and hyper-pigmentation, to leave it with a radiant, even-toned and youthful appearance.
Probiotic Skin Lotion

You might already be taking a daily probiotic to support your overall immune system and gut health. But now you can also apply it directly to your skin as part of your beauty routine with probiotic skin-care formulas. Everything from gel moisturizers, serums, bar soaps, body lotions, face masks and more.
